Because some bull customers want horns on their cattle, there are ways to manage horns to avoid problems. The oldest method is to use horn weights to train the horns to curve downward. Weights vary depending on the size of the animal and the horn and are placed on the ends of the horn and tightened with screws. A locking mechanism on the inside holds the weights firmly in place. Once the horn's growth is altered in the direction desired, the weights can be removed and the horns will resume normal growth. 2, record 4, English, - horn%20weight

The sod webworm is an off-white or tan-coloured caterpillar, about 2 cm long, that lives in the thatch layer of grass. Depending upon the species, it may have rows of darker spots along its back. If you have noticed small, whitish-brown moths flying above the lawn in the summer, you may have seen the adult stage of the sod webworm, the lawn moth. The adults are about 1 cm long with a wingspan of 2 cm. When at rest, they hold their wings close to their bodies. Control-line model airplanes are flown in a circle, attached to a handle by a set of lines. The pilot can control the flight of the model by manipulating the handle. Flying model airplanes on lines has a long and illustrious history. The earliest attempts at "control-line" used one line attached to a long pole. The pilot would cause the airplane to climb or dive by "leading" it with the pole. The person usually credited with inventing the now widely used two line system is Jim Walker, who came up with the idea sometime in the 30s or 40s. The two line system(often referred to a "U-Control", and used on perhaps 99% of control line models) uses a triangular bellcrank to transfer the movement of the wires to the pushrod, connected to the elevator and/or flap control horns. Some Speed flyers use "monoline", which is a system that utilizes line twisting for control. 5, record 67, English, - control%2Dline%20model%20airplane

Air flowing through the center area of the air cap and through holes near the center mixes with fluid from the fluid tip and produces an atomized spray. Horns were first applied to earmolds in the late 1950s in the "Acoustic Modifier"--a short-canal, wide-bore mold. Enlarging a sound bore will enhance high frequencies passing through it; reducing it will reduce the high frequency components. The key to horn theory involved the change in bore diameter, not its shape. With the extended high frequency range of many of today's hearing aids, a horn of some type should be employed to preserve the performance and achieve a successful fitting. Probably the most popular style is the Libby Horn--a tapered, one-piece sound tube which is replaceable in the dispenser's office. 2, record 81, English, - earmold%20with%20Libby%20horn
