Hospitals provide certain types of medical care to many patients that cannot be performed in a home environment. This is often the case with specific illnesses, surgeries, and other medical procedures that require a high level of monitoring of the patient. When medical conditions improve to the point that only occasional monitoring is required, patients can be released from the hospital or medical facility.... Embodiments of the present invention provide methods for customized medical monitoring that may allow early release of many patients from a hospital setting that would normally require in-hospital monitoring. 1, record 2, English, - in%2Dhospital%20monitoring

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented challenges to healthcare services. Concerns about hospital services being overwhelmed led National Health Service(NHS) institutions to develop novel approaches to caring for patients with suspected COVID-19. These include virtual hospitals(VH) where patients who have come to the attention of hospital services and need close monitoring, but do not necessarily need inpatient care, are followed remotely by hospital-based clinicians. VHs are particularly valuable during periods of high disease prevalence, when inpatient hospital services are struggling to cope. 1, record 3, English, - virtual%20hospital

In general, psychiatric treatments have improved significantly over the past several decades, beginning with the advent of modern psychiatric medications. In the past, psychiatric patients were often hospitalized for six months or more, with a significant number of cases involving hospitalization for many years. Today, most psychiatric patients are managed as outpatients. If hospitalization is required, the average hospital stay is around two to three weeks, with only a small number of cases involving long-term in-patient care. 3, record 8, English, - psychiatric%20patient

On 28 December 1807 Father Peter Joseph Triest gathered together a number of young men whose task was to become the care of a group of elderly men. In Ghent, like in many towns in our region, the circumstances in which the poor, the sick, and the elderly were forced to live were abominable. Triest wanted to do something about that. So he founded four congregations. Our story is about one of them : the Brother of Charity. Originally, they were named the Hospital Brothers of St. Vincent. In 1811 the first Brothers took their religious vows. From then on, they lived the life of a religious brother. 1, record 35, English, - Brothers%20of%20Charity

The Rehabilitation Services Plan(RSP) was released by the Department of Health and Wellness in 1994 to create "a coordinated, regionalized network of facility and community-based rehabilitation services to meet the needs of New Brunswickers. "This new approach to the delivery of rehabilitation services was designed to : ensure the appropriate distribution of rehabilitation resources across the province; improve the client's ability to access rehabilitation services; coordinate the delivery of rehabilitation services; establish the necessary supports for continued program development; and emphasize outcomes. The RSP targeted two major sectors : the hospital outpatient rehabilitation services and the community-based rehabilitation services provided by the Extra-Mural Program(Provincial home/community health care program). 1, record 85, English, - Rehabilitation%20Services%20Plan
