Hospitals provide certain types of medical care to many patients that cannot be performed in a home environment. This is often the case with specific illnesses, surgeries, and other medical procedures that require a high level of monitoring of the patient. When medical conditions improve to the point that only occasional monitoring is required, patients can be released from the hospital or medical facility.... Embodiments of the present invention provide methods for customized medical monitoring that may allow early release of many patients from a hospital setting that would normally require in-hospital monitoring. 1, record 2, English, - in%2Dhospital%20monitoring

1, record 2, Spanish, - monitorizaci%C3%B3n%20hospitalaria

In a remote patient monitoring system, physiological data is collected through biomedical sensors in order to evaluate the well-being of patients outside of the hospital setting. Its purpose is to move traditional clinical settings into people's homes, where they live, work, and play. In order for the appropriate decisions to be made, the data collected is wirelessly transmitted to the healthcare provider. Using this type of tele-health, physiological data such as heart rate/pulse rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, blood pressure, and blood oxygen saturation can be measured and transmitted. 1, record 3, English, - remote%20patient%20monitoring%20system
