The Canadian Special Operations Regiment is a highly trained high mobility force that is capable of independent operations as well as supporting both special and conventional operations forces. The battalion sized unit is made up of specialized companies with a host of skills that enable them to operate in a variety of terrains and environments. Drawn from all parts of the CF [Canadian Forces], they provide the Commander CNASOFCOM [Canadian Special Operations Forces Command] with the ability to insert forces in any part of the world by conventional and non-conventional means.

The Habitat Holding Rack(HHR) is a host system that accommodates SSBRP [Space Station Biological Research Project] subrack payloads(that is, habitats) that house biological specimens(e. g. rodent, plant, insect, aquatic, egg, cell and tissue culture, etc.) in a low-acceleration environment on the International Space Station(ISS). The HHR provides the functional support services required by each subrack payload, including structural, mechanical, power, thermal conditioning, data, video, and command and control functions. The HHR also provides a passive vibration control system to protect the payloads from International Space Station(ISS) vibration.
