By using a vocabulary of almost 40, 000 words and phrases recorded by a human to give a natural sounding product with proper inflections and intonations and by concatenating them into voice files, AVIPADS now records over almost all of the basic level of service that Environment Canada provides on its voice recording network in both official languages. 1, record 4, English, - Automated%20Voice%20Information%20Processing%20and%20Dissemination%20System

Environmental Fate. The intent of environmental fate information is to provide an understanding of the factors that influence the short and long-term presence of the microorganism in the environment.... Controlled environmental fate studies. Fate data is most crucial when the effects data demonstrate either a wide host range or significant adverse effects(e. g., adverse effects on plants and animals, or other non-target organisms of environmental and/or economic importance). Environmental fate data may come from well designed microcosm experiments, mesocosm experiments, or it may come from other long-term, controlled studies in which the fate of the microorganism is tested or monitored. Environmental fate test data may include but should not be limited to :-persistence, multiplication and dispersion of the microorganism under different conditions and in different environments(land, marine, freshwater, etc.), and;-the ability of the genetic material introduced into a genetically modified microorganism to be transferred to other organisms or to persist in the environment. 1, record 16, English, - environmental%20fate%20test

1, record 16, French, - essai%20sur%20le%20devenir%20environnemental

There are only four basic kinds of stratigraphic traps: unconformities, porosity permeability pinchouts, reefs, and drape structures. ... Reef Traps. Reefs are productive in many parts of the world. Many types exist, such as atolls, table reefs, pinnacle reefs, barrier reefs, fringing reefs, biostromes, and bioherms. They occur as small dome like features that may be reflected in the overlying sediments by drape. ... The size of a reef ranges from a few acres to several square miles. Seismic exploration is the best way to find reefs. The reef core grows upward and usually outward as the sea level rises. Detrital reef material falls on the ocean side, forming the fore reef. It consists of a number of routines that allocate and deallocate resources, control connections to SQL servers, execute SQL statements using similar mechanisms to dynamic SQL, obtain diagnostic information and control transactions. The CLI can be invoked from the calling environment provided by the host operating system and the calls to SQL are embedded in the object code just like calls to any other system service. 1, record 25, English, - connection%20to%20SQL%20server

To participate in KIDS FROM KANATA, a teacher needs a computer and modem with access to a telephone line. Participants log in to the Canadian national computer packet network, Datapac, to gain access to the SciLink host computer in Toronto. Most cities in Canada have local phone access to Datapac. SciLink is also available via the Internet, a network of networks connecting educational institutions around the world. Participating schools are organized into triads with a wide geographic dispersion, with each triad hosted by a Native, Aboriginal or First Nations classroom. Students interactively conduct research about their other two triad members under headings such as Health, Environment, Language and Culture, History, Education, Economics, and Politics. As issues are discovered and developed in their own and buddy sites, students present points of view and conduct exercises in conflict resolution to develop solutions based on understanding rather than argument. 1, record 31, English, - Kids%20from%20Kanata

1, record 31, French, - Les%20enfants%20du%20Kanata
