17, record 2, French, - sprinkleur
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 4 OBS
16, record 2, French, - sprinkleur

In order to concentrate resources on those areas that are most vulnerable, conservationists have identified certain areas as biodiversity hotspots. The term, first used by British ecologist Norman Myers in 1988, designated areas losing habitat at a high rate in which there is a disproportionate number of species found nowhere else. ... Hotspots are often defined according to their plant vegetation. To Myers, a hotspot has to contain at least 0.5 percent of the world’s 300,000 plant species as endemics. 1, record 11, English, - biodiversity%20hotspot

1, record 11, Spanish, - punto%20caliente%20de%20biodiversidad

Many believe steam cleaning or hot water extraction is the best carpet cleaning method available... Hot water extraction utilizes a push-pull stroke for effective carpet cleaning. The hot water sprayer is located on the rear of the extraction wand. When the rearward thrust is made hot water is injected into the carpet pile where it is extracted a split second later by the extraction cup. The forward stroke is used to remove excess moisture and any remaining soil. For heavily soiled areas continuous back and forth motions can be used to increase the temperature of the area to assist in soil removal. 3, record 18, English, - steam%20cleaning

In partnership with the Alberta Oilsands Technical Authority(AOSTRA) in 1979 the pressure cycle steam drive system was developed. Once a hot communication path is established between wells, continuous steam injection is begun, with the injection and production rates controlled to alternately pressure up and blow down the reservoir. 1, record 22, English, - pressure%20cycle%20steam%20drive%20system

Another process somewhat related to injection blow-molding is dip blow molding used for small containers. The process has the advantage of reducing some of the molded-in stress. A core rod is inserted into a cupel, displacing resin and packing it into the neck finish area. As the core rod moves away, a predetermined amount of resin is permitted to remain on the rod. A hot knife cuts the hot plastic, separating the material on the rod from the melt pool in the cupel. The core rod is then rotated to the blow station for blow molding. As the hot gas passes through, heat is transferred to evaporate the water, and the gas leaves at a reduced temperature and with increased water vapor content. 1, record 35, French, - rouleau%20de%20joint%20de%20tapis

Stone dust, fly ash, soot, and unburned droplets of fuel oil are the main types of particulate resulting from the operations of hot-mix asphalt paving plants. The predominant particulate emission is stone dust and its major source is the dryer. Other sources of particulate emissions include the screens, open bucket elevators, weigh hoppers, asphalt heaters, storage piles and bins, and traffic dust from the yard. Particulates from the dryer are normally termed "dryer dust"; those from the screen cover, weigh and mix area, and hot material elevator are usually called "fugitive dust". 1, record 37, English, - dryer%20dust

By far the most promising method for very deep penetration would seem to be the "subterrene"-a melt-penetration device... By applying intense heat to a small local area, the rock may be fused so that the hot penetrator can advance downwards, melting and displacing the fused rock outwards in the process. 1, record 39, English, - subterrene

Forced Air Wood Furnaces. Central wood-burning furnaces are controlled by a wall mounted thermostat in the living area. Temperature and fan controls are the same as those found on oil and gas furnaces. Unlike room heaters, which produce a steady heat output by periodic manual adjustments of the draft control, most wood furnaces operate in cycles. A cycle starts with the thermostat sensing that heat is needed in the room where it is located. It signals the furnace control system which opens the combustion air damper and a hot fire develops. When the air inside the furnace's sheet metal casing gets hot, a preset fan control starts the circulating blower and the warm air is moved through the ducts to all areas of the house. 1, record 42, English, - forced%20air%20wood%20furnace
