Una caldera es un intercambiador de calor en el que la energía se aporta generalmente por un proceso de combustión, o también por el calor contenido en un gas que circula a través de ella. En ambos casos, el calor aportado se transmite a un fluido, generalmente agua, que se vaporiza o no (según la temperatura y presión de diseño), y se transporta a un equipo consumidor, en el que se cede esa energía.

Les panneaux rayonnants désignent divers dispositifs de diffusion de chaleur par le rayonnement d'une large surface émettrice, telle qu'une plaque de tôle métallique, chauffée soit par une résistance électrique, soit par des tubulures dans lesquelles circule un fluide chaud. Contrairement aux panneaux radiants, ces panneaux ont un rayonnement invisible, par émission de rayons infra-rouges. Les panneaux radiants sont des corps de chauffe par rayonnement dont l'élément chauffant, réseau de résistances électriques ou rampes de combustion à gaz, est au contact direct de l'atmosphère.

L'air réchauffé dans les appareils de production est, soit conduit par un réseau de gaines appropriées, soit soufflé directement dans les locaux à chauffer, s'y refroidit et est ou évacué en totalité à l'extérieur, ou repris partiellement ou en totalité et ramené à l'appareil de production d'air chaud, et le cycle recommence.

Ultrasonic device that vaporizes water molecules in clothing without heating the fabric, removing moisture faster and without shrinkage or damage to the cloth. It also works on silks and wools that would normally go to the dry cleaners. It dehydrates laundry in one-third the time of hot-air convection dryers and is 15% more energy efficient.
