The nature of the illness : Clinically, EIS/MCS patients have presented at various levels of disability from mild to severe. There are also several typical manifestations : 1) Patients who have had primarily chemical sensitivity who are developing worsening fatigue and sensitivities to other incitants as their illness progresses, including additional chemicals, foods and inhalants. 2) Patients who present with sever problems of multiple sensitivities to foods, chemicals and inhalants, and polysystem involvement generally classified as environmental hypersensitivity. 3) The patient who develops a syndrome of chronic fatigue, usually following a viral infection, who then begins to develop increased sensitivities to foods, chemicals and inhalants. 3, record 26, English, - environmental%20hypersensitivity

Building Related Illness(BRI)... refers to a defined illness with a known causative agent resulting from exposure to the building air. While the causative agent can be chemical(e. g., formaldehyde), it is often biological. Typical sources of biological contaminants are humidification systems, cooling towers, drain pans or filters, other wet surfaces, or water damaged building material. Symptoms may be specific or mimic symptoms commonly associated with the flu, including fever, chills, and cough. Serious lung and respiratory conditions can occur. Legionnaires’ disease, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and humidifier fever are common examples of building related illness. 7, record 29, English, - building%2Drelated%20illness

7, record 30, French, - sensibilit%C3%A9%20chimique%20multiple
