Numerous outbreaks associated with viral contamination of fresh fruits and vegetables have been reported worldwide over the last decade. Fresh produce can become contaminated with viruses through contact with human sewage or infected workers during primary production, harvest, post-harvest handling, processing, packaging, and distribution. Unlike bacteria, human enteric viruses cannot multiply in food, as they need to enter living human cells to replicate. However, they can remain viable in fruits and vegetables for extended periods of time, and may cause illness if ingested. 2, record 1, English, - viral%20contamination

2, record 1, French, - contamination%20virale

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Alpha particles have very little penetrating power. Consequently, radionuclides that emit alpha particles are not an external exposure hazard but can be harmful if the material is inhaled or ingested. Alpha radiation can be emitted from both natural elements and artificial substances. 1, record 2, English, - alpha%20radiation

1, record 2, French, - rayonnement%20alpha

In aeolid nudibranchs the mantle is extended into long finger-like projections called cerata(singular, ceras). The cerata contain branches of digestive gland and often this is visible through the ceratal epidermis. In aeolids the tips of the cerata contain cnidosacs which usually store nematocysts(stinging cells) that are obtained from ingested cnidarian prey, such as hydroids, sea-anemones and soft corals. If disturbed, the nudibranch is capable of discharging these stinging cells through a terminal pore in the ceras; this is an effective deterrent to predatory fish. 1, record 3, English, - cerata
