The term "magmatic segregation deposit" is now applied to all ore deposits that are direct crystallization products of a magma, exclusive of pegmatites. They usually form in deep-seated intrusive bodies, but have been known to form in sills and even in lava flows. A magmatic segregation deposit may constitute the entire rock mass or a compositional layer, or may be defined by the presence of valuable accessory minerals in an otherwise normal igneous rock. 3, record 23, English, - magmatic%20segregation%20deposit

1, record 23, French, - g%C3%AEte%20de%20s%C3%A9gr%C3%A9gation

Granite is an igneous rock, meaning that it is formed by the solidification of molten rock. It is distinguished from other igneous rocks by its chemical composition, and by a relatively large crystal size. Since a very low cooling is necessary to produce large crystals, granite is always an intrusive formation.(This means that the cooling occurs underground. Molten rock which reaches the surface of the Earth will cool much too quickly to produce a similar texture.) 3, record 24, English, - Bramsche%20intrusive%20formation

2, record 24, French, - formation%20intrusive%20de%20Bramsche

Deposits of Nb, Ta, Be, Zr, and rare earth elements(REE) within alkalic intrusive complexes can be subdivided into two main classes depending on the relationship of mineralization to the surrounding rocks. The first class, igneous deposits, is characterised by restriction of the economic mineralization to specific intrusive units within the complex, and by general lack of obvious zones of alteration surrounding the deposits.
