The organization offers industrial training including public and online courses, internships, and seminars; research and development services; and validation of new applications and services. It serves national and international corporations, government agencies, and universities. The organization has strategic partnerships with Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association(CWTA) and FGT Consultants in Management, Education and Technology Inc. IIT was founded in 1999 and is based in Montreal, Canada.
