The Organizational Readiness Office (ORO) was established in 2000 to identify and address strategic "people" elements critical to the success of government transformation. The ORO assumes a leadership role by developing enterprise-wide, capacity-building products, tools and services in support of change initiatives, ensures alignment with other major government initiatives, and addresses issues that impact the IM, IT and other communities within CIO Branch (CIOB).

Le Bureau de gestion du changement (BGC) a été mis sur pied en 2000 afin d'identifier et d'étudier les facteurs stratégiques, sur le plan humain, qui sont essentiels au succès de la transformation du gouvernement. Le BGC joue un rôle de leadership en élaborant des produits, des outils et des services qui renforcent les capacités du gouvernement, et qui appuient les initiatives de changement. Il assure aussi l'harmonisation avec les autres initiatives importantes du gouvernement et s'occupe des questions qui touchent les collectivités de la GI, de la TI et d'autres collectivités au sein de la Direction du DPI (DDPI).
