Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the Information Management Services Directorate(IMSD) provides the strategy, policies, infrastructure, tools and skilled personnel necessary for Health Canada to make effective use of information management and information technology(IM/IT) in the delivery of departmental programs and services. This includes developing, implementing and communicating IM/IT policies, standards and guidelines; facilitating the planning and delivery of corporate IM/IT projects; and providing coordination and secretariat support to the Department's IM/IT committees.

Sous l'autorité de la dirigeante principale de l'information, la Direction des services de gestion de l'information (DSGI) fournit la stratégie, les politiques, l'infrastructure, les outils et le personnel spécialisé dont a besoin Santé Canada pour utiliser efficacement la gestion de l'information et la technologie de l'information (GI/TI) aux fins de la prestation des programmes et des services du Ministère.
