In another embodiment of the... invention, a computer may place one or more markers on an imaged scene. Then the person capturing the image of the scene may encourage a person in the scene to interact with those markers, knowing that augmented reality will be applied based on the location of the markers.... an image object U, in this case a person, has an image arm A. The marker M is overlaid on the image by computer. The overlaying of the marker may be done by applying an additional layer onto the image, which layer may be largely transparent so that the underlying image may be seen. The marker M may be a guide to indicate to the person capturing the image that an augmented reality object may be overlaid on the ultimate image at that location. The image object U may be a still or moving image. 1, record 1, English, - overlaying

3, record 5, French, - positionnement%20des%20%C3%A9critures

The angle defined by the incident radar beam and the vertical (normal) to the intercepting surface. 3, record 6, English, - incidence%20angle
Record number: 6, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The incidence angle is commonly used to describe the angular relationship between the radar beam and the ground, surface layer or a target. A change of the radar illumination angle often affects the radar backscattering behaviour of a surface or target. The incidence angle changes across the radar image swath; it increases from near range to far range. In the case of satellite radar imagery, the change of incidence angle for flat terrain across the imaging swath tends to be rather small, usually on the order of several degrees. In the case of an inclined surface(slope), the local incidence angle is defined as the angle between the incident radar beam and a line that is normal to that surface. The local incidence angle determining, in part, the brightness, or image tone, for each picture element(pixel) and slope facet, is a key element in the prominent rendition of terrain features in radar imagery. 3, record 6, English, - incidence%20angle

Recently, the so-called "flexo CTP(Computer to Plate) method" has been developed. In this method, a thin, light absorption layer called "Black layer" is formed on the surface of a photosensitive resin plate, and the resultant resin plate is irradiated with a laser to ablate(evaporate) desired portions of the black layer to form a mask bearing an image(formed by the unablated portions of the black layer) on the resin plate directly without separately perparing a mask. Subsequently, the resultant resin plate is imagewise exposed to light through the mask, to thereby crosslink the exposed portions of the resin, followed by developing treatment in which the unexposed portions of the resin(i. e., uncrosslinked resin portions) are washed away with a developing liquid. 4, record 7, English, - black%20layer

In the chromogenic processes, three selectively light sensitive layers in the silver halide emulsion are exposed to light. Initially, a black and white, silver halide, latent image is chemically developed to form a negative on all three layers. During this stage, the developer used to convert the exposed silver halide to metallic silver becomes oxidized. The oxidized developer combines with color couplers initiating the selective formation of cyan, magenta and yellow dyes within discrete layers of the emulsion. The image silver is then bleached and unexposed silver halide is removed by fixing. 3, record 11, English, - image%20silver

Coated optics refers to a process of applying a special layer of layers of magnesium fluoride to selected lens and prism surfaces. This is done because every glass surface reflects a small amount of light which reduces the amount of light reaching your eyes. These coatings are designed to reduce this reflectivity thus allowing more light to reach your eyes providing a brighter and clearer image. Coatings can be single layer or multi layer. 1, record 13, English, - single%20layer

De 92 % de transmission de la lumière, le traitement monocouche augmente la transmission à 98 % alors que le multicouche augmente cette transmission à près de 99 %! SPI, or Sediment Profile Imagery, is an innovative and cost efficient method of surveying and/or monitoring lake or marine aquatic environments with a view to establishing the environmental status of these habitats or as part of a site suitability study.... SPI is based on single lens reflex(SLR) camera photography and computer-based image analysis which greatly accelerates the time required to write reports and provide relevant data to the client/legislator in a matter of weeks. SPI technology can readily quantify over 20 physical, chemical and biological parameters including : sediment grain size; prism penetration; surface pelletal layer; sediment surface relief; mud clasts; redox area; redox contrast; current apparent redox boundary; relict redox boundaries; methane gas vesicles; apparent faunal dominants; voids; burrows; surface features(e. g. worm tubes, epifauna, shell) ;dredged material; microbial aggregations; and successional stage. 1, record 14, English, - sediment%20profile%20imagery
