Culture is everyone's right and belongs to us all. Our cultural heritage, from great works of the imagination to art and culture in their many shapes and forms, belongs to society as a whole. Everyone must have access to culture, to understand and share in it, so as to enrich and stimulate their own creativity. This principle inspired representatives of the culture and social economy community to found the Journées de la culture in 1996. The basis of prescription is that if long enjoyment of a right is shown, the court will strive to uphold the right by presuming that it had a lawful origin. Thus the court may presume, on proof of the fact of long enjoyment that there once was an actual grant of the right, even though it is impossible to produce any direct evidence of such a grant. It is then "the habit, and in my view the duty, of the court, so far as it lawfully can, to clothe the fact with right". "The court is endowed with a great power of imagination for the purpose of supporting ancient user. "(Megarry & Wade, 4th ed., 1975, p. 841). 1, record 18, English, - ancient%20user

My copygraphic prints are artworks related to the so-called "new images, "generated through photo-electronic technologies. In short, it could be described as [the projection of] an evanescent sculpture... "Cocktail onions"(...) are produced in much the same way as onion sets with very heavy, close seeding of pickling-type onions. Being crowded together, they tend to bulb early in their growth. And, special varieties are selected. The "Pearl Onion" name came from the Pearl variety-plus the fact that the small, white onion simulated a pearl-with a stretch of the imagination. 1, record 25, English, - cocktail%20onion

The International Ocean Institute has the honour to announce the "Arvid Pardo Award" for Research on the Concept of the Common Heritage". This Award was created by the Institute in 1992 and first awarded in 1997. Through this award the International Ocean Institute wishes to pay tribute to Arvid Pardo, the father of the contemporary Law of the Sea, the inspirer of the pacem in Maribus Conferences and the International Ocean Institute. It was the global vision, knowledge and intellectual integrity of Arvid Pardo, together with his lucid presentation of the proposals in 1967, that convinced the United Nations General Assembly to convene the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea. Special tribute must be paid to Arvid Pardo for his imagination and clear justification of the principle of the Common Heritage of Mankind in his presentations to the General Assembly and subsequently during the initial considerations thereof. 2, record 35, English, - %5C%22Arvid%20Pardo%20Award%5C%22%20for%20Research%20on%20the%20Concept%20of%20the%20Common%20Heritage

Multi-screen techniques of projection can make very effective presentations of properly prepared 35mm slides(...) The multi-screen idea implies the use of two or more projectors, usually coordinated by a control mechanism to cue the various machines and maintain synchronism with a sound accompaniment.
