A Web bug, also known as a Web beacon, is a file object (usually a graphic image such as a transparent GIF) that is placed on a Web page or in an e-mail message to monitor user behavior, functioning as a kind of spyware.

OBS

Unlike a cookie, which can be accepted or declined by a browser user, a Web bug arrives as just another GIF on the Web page. A Web bug is typically invisible to the user because it is transparent(matches the color of the page background) and takes up only a tiny amount of space. It can usually only be detected if the user looks at the source version of the page to find a an IMG tag that loads from a different Web server than the rest of the page.

A Skins Game is based on the concept of different holes or "skins" being worth different amounts of money. In the TELUS Skins Game, the purse is split in the following way : Holes 1-6 :$15, 000/hole; Holes 7-12 :$20, 000/hole; Holes 13-18 :$25, 000/hole. The player with the lowest score on a hole wins the money. If all players tie a hole, the prize money is carried over and added to the next hole's prize purse. The Skins Game is a global golf property sold for broadcast around the world by IMG Canada. Professional Skins Games are also played in Australia, France, Korea, Thailand, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and the U. S. A.
