Si le produit imite une espèce, son nom sera : simili + trait d'union + (nom de l'espèce). Exemples : simili-crabe, simili-pétoncle, simili-crevette, simili-homard. 2. Si le produit imite une partie anatomique ou la chair d'une espèce, son nom sera : simili + trait d'union + (partie anatomique ou chair) de (nom de l'espèce). Exemples : simili-queue de homard, simili-chair de crabe, simili-patte de crabe, simili-pince de crabe. 3. Si le produit est offert sous une présentation particulière, son nom sera : (mode de présentation) de simili + trait d'union + (nom de l'espèce). Exemples : bouchées de simili-crabe, miettes de simili-crabe, filaments de simili-crabe. 4. Simili est considéré comme un préfixe et il est invariable.
