There are five classes of immunoglobulins :(i) immunoglobulin G(IgG),(ii) immunoglobulin M(IgM),(iii) immunoglobulin A(IgA),(iv) immunoglobulin E(IgE), and(v) immunoglobulin D(IgD).

OBS

For some authors, the term "immunoglobulin" is synonymous with the term "antibody." However, while all antibodies are immunoglobulins, not all immunoglobulins are antibodies.
