When the Business Partnering Model was first presented, the role of a broker within the Director, Human Resources’ team had been developed whose responsibility was routing all requests to the appropriate service centre, tracking all requests to ensure service standards were met, and providing information to managers and the team on the status of individual service transactions. After long discussions, the broker role was replaced by a Business Line Team(BLT). This team is part of the Organization and Resourcing Services. Members of the BLT team are at all levels of the organization from support to officer. The make up of the Business Line Team is reviewed annually based on client business plans and service agreements. The Business Line Team is the client's single point of access for staffing, organization design and classification request. It is also responsible for providing these services in the most strategic and cost-efficient way for the client. The Director, HR team will keep the BLT abreast of any client issue, general direction and priority that might impact on service delivery.

When an inertial navigation system is immobile, the gyros measure bias values that are integrated by the calculator and the unit thinks that it is rotating, and therefore advancing across the surface of the terrestrial globe, which generates a position error. It will be understood that position error shows linear growth over time and there is a direct relationship between the accuracy of a gyro and position drift.

The fuel-oil heater serves a twofold purpose, it is designed to cool the oil and preheat the fuel for combustion.

Bell 212 helicopter... Engine power loss. Engine tear-down inspections revealed that the number two engine was not operating on impact and the fuel oil heater had malfunctioned, however this malfunction alone would not cause the engine to stop operating. If fuel pressure upstream from the engine driven boost pump is lost when the fuel oil heater has malfunctioned(allowing the fuel to be heated), the engine will stop operating. Since the investigation revealed no other reason for the engine to stop operating, it is likely that the number two engine shut down due to a loss of line fuel pressure provided by the electrical boost pumps, coincident with the malfunctioning fuel oil heater.

ASTM method D 746 addresses the effect of cold temperature on plastics and, in particular, the properties of brittleness and impact strength. At various temperatures, specimens are tested by a specified impact device in a cantilever beam test mode. Brittleness is defined as "that temperature estimated statistically, at which 50 percent of the specimens would fail in the specified test."

Determination of the Izod impact resistance of rigid plastics ... Method A is the Cantilever beam or Izod Type Test in which the specimen is broken by a blow delivered at a fixed distance from the edge of the specimen clamp. The test requires a notched specimen in all cases. The notch is intended to produce a standard degree of stress concentration.

Izod impact strength of notched specimens... The test specimen, supported as a vertical cantilever beam, is broken by a single swing of a pendulum, with the line of impact at a fixed distance from the specimen clamp and from the centre line of the notch.

La méthode A est l'essai sur éprouvette en porte-à-faux ou essai type Izod dans lequel la rupture de l'éprouvette résulte d'un coup appliqué à distance fixe du bord du porte-éprouvette.
