Mass analyzers are systems designed to identify and measure materials according to their molecular weights. The technique has been adapted for many other applications ranging from physics research and the identification of complex molecular structure to assuring the integrity of the fuel systems on the space shuttle and routine helium leak detection. While the uses of mass analyzers in the microelectronics industry include some exotic applications, such as SIMS, the greatest number of systems are used for various types of gas analysis. Applications for mass analyzers include process monitoring, process engineering and control in such areas as evaporation, MBE, sputter etch and deposition, plasma etch and deposition, ion, implantation, LPCVD, CVD, and diffusion furnaces. Another important application is high purity gas certification and electronic gas mixture verification. 2, record 24, English, - mass%20analyser

3, record 37, French, - terminom%C3%A9trie

Laser annealing of ion-implantation damage was perhaps the first area of laser processing investigated. This is one reason why there is wide-spread use of the term laser annealing to describe the entire field of laser wafer processing. The laser's ability in the following areas is well documented-for instance, the annealing of : 1. Polycrystaline silicon to increase grain size, 2. Polysilicon films to decrease sheet resistivity, 3. Ion implantation to diffuse dopant, 4. Ion implantation to heal stress areas, but the laser wafer annealer has applications beyond this, including : 1. Trimming resistors and capacitors, 2. Serializing wafers, 3. IC failure analysis, 4. Mask repair. 2, record 39, English, - laser%20annealing

The annealing behaviour of boron and phosphorus ions implanted in silicon on sapphire(SOS) has been investigated by Eklund, Holmén and Peterstrom..., who found that the sheet resistivity of implanted layers in 1-2 [ohm-centimeter] SOS and bulk silicon is almost the same. 2, record 50, English, - silicon%20on%20sapphire

1, record 60, French, - grain%20radioactif

Hyperacute/acute/chronic rejection describe the speed of rejection in organs such as the kidney. Hyperacute reactions occur within minutes of implantation and are caused by preformed recipient antibody to the graft. Acute rejection occurs within two weeks of grafting, due to prior sensitization of the recipient to histocompatibility antigens. Chronic rejection occurs later due to the development of sensitivity to graft antigens. This sometimes occurs after the cessation of immuno-suppression necessitated by infection. 1, record 66, English, - hyperacute%20rejection
