The Office of Workplace Health and Human Resources Modernization(WHAHRM) is responsible for the overall management and administration of the departmental WHAHRM Initiative. This includes the : Development of an integrated departmental action plan to enhance workplace health and modernize human resources management, and Design and delivery of a long-term strategy to support its implementation. The Human Resources Management Modernization Branch(HRMM) was established in April 2004, as an organization within the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada(PSHRMAC), the new central agency whose core business, purpose and focus is to improve the management of people, and of leadership, in the public service of Canada. The Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada was created in 2003 to put in place a new human resources management regime in the Public Service of Canada.
