Soon a more sturdy doctrine was fashioned. It was called "last clear chance", "last opportunity" or "ultimate negligence". The seminal case was Davies v. Mann where the plaintiff negligently left his donkey on the highway with its legs tied. The defendant drove his wagon and horses negligently into the animal and killed it. The main threat so far to the recording industry, is that as each successive copy is identical to the original; there is no loss in quality no matter the generation of the copy. The process of through-drying... Essentially, a hot, unsaturated gas is passed through a wet, porous material(e. g., the tissue web) by imposing a pressure differential across the material. As the hot gas passes through, heat is transferred to evaporate the water, and the gas leaves at a reduced temperature and with increased water vapor content. As early as 1909 the Conservative Party believed that Canada should contribute emergency funds to help the Royal Navy maintain its superiority over the German navy. Payment was authorized by the Naval Aid Bill, introduced by PM Borden. The Conservatives carried the bill on 15 may 1913 only by imposing closure on debate for the first time in canadian history. However, the Liberal majority in the Senate defeated the bill 2 weeks later.
