A term referring to the rate of drawdown in the level of water impounded in a reservoir. The term "rapid" is relative to the time taken by the phreatic surface in the embankment to follow the falling level in the reservoir, which may take several weeks or even months, being dependent on the permeability of the material forming the embankment. 3, record 1, English, - rapid%20drawdown

1, record 1, French, - abaissement%20brusque%20du%20plan%20d%27eau
