The purpose of this guideline is to establish standards that should be followed in the discharge of waste from an industrial operation on Commissioner's Land or lands administered by municipal governments in the Northwest Territories(NWT). This guideline has been developed by the Environmental Protection Service(EPS) of the Department of Resources, Wildlife and Economic Development(RWED).
