Si la personne qui fait l'objet de l'opposition ne se présente pas devant le directeur du scrutin lorsque celui-ci étudie l'opposition ou ne lui fait parvenir aucune preuve établissant sa qualité d'électeur, l'auteur de l'opposition n'est pas exempté de l'obligation de présenter des éléments de preuve que, en l'absence de preuve contraire, le directeur du scrutin juge suffisants pour démontrer que le nom de la personne qui fait l'objet de l'opposition figure irrégulièrement sur la liste électorale.
