The South Shore Reading Council is a non-profit volunteer literacy organization located in Longueuil-Greenfield Park on Montreal’s South Shore. Based upon [its] goal to eradicate illiteracy, [its] philosophy is to individualize [its] programs to suit each student’s individual needs. [This council] strives to serve the surrounding South Shore communities with various reading literacy programs and activities for individuals as well as for families such as; one-on-one tutoring, Mother Goose family literacy program, Seniors program, and Youth and Peer Tutoring.

UNITAR's Environmental Law Programme was established with the main objective of strengthening national legal and institutional capabilities to implement environmental law obligations. Through its score training activities the Environmental Law Programme contributes to making the complex range of international environmental agreements comprehensible to the stakeholders involved with their implementation at the national level. The overall goal of the Environmental Law Programme is to raise awareness and to improve general knowledge in international environmental law, strengthening the capacities for the adequate implementation of multilateral environmental agreements.
