IMPULSE FUNCTION [8 records]

Record 1 2020-12-22

English

Subject field(s)
  • Radar, Radio Guidance and Goniometry
  • Astronomy
CONT

An impulse response function and a transfer function of use for partially coherent systems are presented. Partially coherent systems are those that transform a complex amplitude input to an output intensity and are encountered in many guises including optical systems, radiometers, scatterometers, astronomical radars...

CONT

English

Subject field(s)
  • Non-Surgical Treatment
  • Muscles and Tendons
CONT

Neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) is the application of electrical stimuli to a group of muscles, most often for the purpose of muscle rehabilitation.

CONT

Neuromuscular electrical stimulation is primarily used by physical therapists as a form of rehabilitation after injury, stroke, or other incident that results in loss of muscle function. NMES is achieved by passing an electrical impulse from a device through electrodes placed on the skin over the targeted muscle or muscles.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Traitements non chirurgicaux
  • Muscles et tendons
CONT

DEF

A two-dimensional brightness pattern in an image, after processing, corresponding to the signal reflected by an object whose sigma falls within the dynamic range of the system, and for which the width of the imaged pattern is determined by the radar and processor rather than by the size of the object.

English

Subject field(s)
  • Nervous System
DEF

A complex of learning and behavioral disabilities seen primarily in children of near average to above average intelligence, exhibiting also deviations of function of the central nervous system. The impairment may involve perception, conceptualization, language, memory, and control of attention, impulse and motor function.

French

Domaine(s)

CONT
