The INSAC draws personnel from the broader Canadian intelligence community, including those involved with defence, immigration, transport, communications, customs, critical infrastructure, foreign affairs and law enforcement to prepare timely, client-focussed and value-added intelligence. The assessments produced by the Centre are then distributed to the Government of Canada and recipient departments who forward them, as appropriate, to their partners to improve warning, response and incident mitigation capabilities.
