In response to the Treasury Board of Canada's Directive on Performance management, Public Services and Procurement Canada(PSPC) has implemented a new Policy on Performance and Talent Management for Non-Executive Employees. The new policy will : support talent management as a key component in people management; ensure talent is managed in a fair, consistent and inclusive manner at all levels of the organization; modernise how we recruit and develop a talented and diverse workforce; support succession planning and fostering a learning culture; maximize talent mobility for all employees; increase employee engagement and retention; promote inclusion and reflect the diversity of our workforce; enhance the profile of PSPC as an employer of choice to maximize talent recruitment and retention.
