Human Resources Development Canada. This project consists of a number of components aimed at streamlining how businesses provide payroll information to Human Resources and Development Canada for the Employment Insurance, Income Security(Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security) and Canada Student Loans programs. An amendment to the Old Age Security Act provides for payment of SPA(Spouse's Allowance) to any widow or widower who is between the ages of 60 and 64, has been a Canadian resident for at least 10 years after age 18 and meets the income eligibility and residency status criteria.
