A quickshifter(or quick shifter) is a device that allows clutchless shifting on a manual transmission, and is commonly found on motorcycles. It can increase the safety and comfort of the vehicle since it eliminates the need to use the clutch or throttle before and after a gearshift. 2, record 1, English, - quickshifter

The reverse thrust system provides means of decelerating aircraft during the landing roll, thus reducing landing roll length. The thrust reverser units are attached at the turbine outlet case of each engine.... The reversers are controlled by reverse thrust levers and operated by 13th stage engine bleed air. When not in use, the reversers are held in the locked position by 13th stage air and a mechanical lock. Each engine throttle has an additional handle which is used to actuate the thrust reversers. The reverse thrust lever pivots about a point near to the top of the throttle. If reverse trust is required, the throttle must be retarded to closed and then the reverse thrust lever must be pulled up. Further aft movement of the lever will increase reverse thrust. 3, record 2, English, - reverse%20thrust%20lever

3, record 2, French, - manette%20d%27inversion%20de%20pouss%C3%A9e

Engineering Cockpit Simulator consists of a transport aircraft cockpit with all instrumentation and flight dynamics driven by a network of high-end graphics workstations. The software can simulate nearly any commercial transport aircraft, using five networked graphics computer machines, including an out-the-window display. Classified as a flight-training device, the simulator uses high-resolution, computer-generated images, to graphically depict airplane controls and displays that are located on the forward instrument panel. To increase fidelity, some aircraft components are installed, including throttle quadrant, flight mode control panel, flight management systems, control yokes, landing gear handle assembly, and rudder pedals. 3, record 4, English, - engineering%20cockpit%20simulator

BOEING 747 ENGINEERING COCKPIT SIMULATOR (ECS). ... The ECS uses a software package distributed by CTA Simulation Systems called Mission Simulator Software (MSS) to model flight dynamics and depict aircraft instruments. Out of the window (OTW) scenery is generated using Microsoft Flight Simulator with an infinity optics display system. The software is flexible, allowing the simulation of nearly any commercial transport aircraft. 2, record 4, English, - engineering%20cockpit%20simulator
