Legislation will be introduced as part of the budget to effect the two-year extension of the wage freeze and the two-year freeze on pay increments within grade. In consultation with employee representatives, the government will be conducting a review of all operations to determine if greater efficiencies can be delivered that will provide savings incremental to those identified in this and previous budgets.
