Several important assumptions must be met before using mark-recapture methods to estimate population abundance and mortality. These assumptions include :(1) the tagged fish are representative of the population from which mortality information is sought,(2) there is no emigration of tagged fish,(3) the number of tagged fish that are released is known exactly,(4) there are no tag losses and no misread tags,(5) survival rates are not affected by tagging, and(6) that the fate of each individual tagged fish is independent of other tagged individuals, among other assumptions... 1, record 1, English, - mark%2Drecapture%20method

A measure of correlation between one dependent variable and a combination of two or more independent variables. 1, record 3, English, - multiple%20correlation
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Multiple correlation provides an estimate of the combined influence of two or more independent variables on the dependent variable. For example, it could be used to measure, the relationship between age and years of schooling combined and hours per week spent watching television. A multiple correlation may be either a linear correlation or a curvilinear correlation. 1, record 3, English, - multiple%20correlation
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 OBS
If the independent variables are regarded as random variables, then the appropriate term is multiple correlation. If the independent variables are fixed in advance then the term is multiple regression. 2, record 3, English, - multiple%20correlation

1, record 3, French, - corr%C3%A9lation%20multiple
