Natural menopause is defined as the permanent cessation of menstruation resulting from the loss of ovarian follicular activity. It is recognized to have occurred after 12 consecutive months of amenorrhea, for which there is no other obvious pathologic or physiologic cause. Menopause occurs with the final menstrual period(FMP), which is known with certainty only in retrospect ≤1 year after the event. An adequate independent biologic marker for the event does not exist. 3, record 1, English, - natural%20menopause

The difference between a determinable fee and a fee simple defeasible by condition subsequent is not always easy to discern. The essential distinction is that the determining event in a determinable fee itself sets the limit for the estate first granted. A condition subsequent, on the other hand, is an independent clause added to a limitation of a complete fee simple absolute which operates so as to defeat it.... Words which form a separate clause of defeasance, such as "provided that, ""on condition that, ""but if, "or "if happen that, "operate as a condition subsequent.(Megarry & Wade, 4th ed., 1975, p. 76). 2, record 9, English, - fee%20simple%20defeasible%20by%20condition%20subsequent

Such a limitation on the happening of either of two alternative events is called a limitation upon a double aspect or a contingency with a double aspect, but is said to really comprise alternative independent limitations. [The] Intersecretariat Committee on Scientific Programmes Relating to Oceanography(ICSPRO)... was established in 1969, independent of the ACC, for the purpose of enlisting and coordinating interagency support for the scientific programmes of the IOC, which was established in 1960. Its mandate and membership is thus more limited than that of the ACC Subcommittee, with a focus on marine scientific research and support services. ICSPRO now meets for one or two days in connection with annual sessions of the ACC Subcommittee and currently its work is focused primarily on developing and coordinating contributions of UN agencies to the 1998 International Year of the Ocean(an initiative of UNESCO and proclaimed in 1994 by the General Assembly) and to "Expo ’98" in Lisbon, an international event entitled "The Oceans : A Heritage for the Future. "Its work thus does not overlap that of the Subcommittee. The members of ICSPRO are the UN(DOALOS), UNESCO(IOC), IMO, WMO, FAO and UNEP. 4, record 19, English, - Intersecretariat%20Committee%20on%20Scientific%20Programmes%20Relating%20to%20Oceanography
