Bioventing is an in situ remediation technology that uses indigenous microorganisms to biodegrade organic constituents adsorbed to soils in the unsaturated zone. Soils in the capillary fringe and the saturated zone are not affected. In bioventing, the activity of the indigenous bacteria is enhanced by inducing air(or oxygen) flow into the unsaturated zone(using extraction or injection wells) and, if necessary, by adding nutrients. 3, record 2, English, - bioventing

2, record 2, French, - bioventilation
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT
4, record 2, French, - bioventilation

All sour-typed doughs use a starter in the initial stage. The starter is taken from a ripe sour. It can also be produced by "spontaneous fermentation"-a process that is initiated by bacteria indigenous to the flour and by airborne organisms infecting the flour. 6, record 3, English, - starter
