The Indigenous Women's Circle was established on May 24, 2018, to engage with Indigenous women leaders and experts in the public and private sectors on the challenges they face and their priorities for the Government of Canada related to advancing gender equality.... Each member brings a wealth of knowledge related to three priority areas at Women and Gender Equality Canada(WAGE) : increasing women's economic security and prosperity; encouraging women's leadership and democratic participation; and ending violence against women and girls.
