When the Business Partnering Model was first presented, the role of a broker within the Director, Human Resources’ team had been developed whose responsibility was routing all requests to the appropriate service centre, tracking all requests to ensure service standards were met, and providing information to managers and the team on the status of individual service transactions. After long discussions, the broker role was replaced by a Business Line Team(BLT). This team is part of the Organization and Resourcing Services. On a matrix basis, a team will be set up for each client Branch/SOA. Headed by a Senior Consultant, reporting to the Resourcing Manager, the team represents a mix of skills and resources to meet client needs as defined by a service agreement negotiatied by the Director, Human Resources. The Senior Consultant, BLT and his/her team will work in partnership with the Director, HR team and will provide constant feed back on results and issues impacting service delivery to the client. Members of the BLT team are at all levels of the organization from support to officer. The make up of the Business Line Team is reviewed annually based on client business plans and service agreements. The Business Line Team is the client's single point of access for staffing, organization design and classification request. It is also responsible for providing these services in the most strategic and cost-efficient way for the client. The Director, HR team will keep the BLT abreast of any client issue, general direction and priority that might impact on service delivery. 2, record 11, English, - Business%20Line%20Team

2, record 11, French, - %C3%89quipe%20de%20secteur%20d%27activit%C3%A9

The financial control area of the coding block can be used to accommodate requirements of individual departments such as work order code, project code, province, and the like. There is no theoretical limit to the number of imposed coding fields, although no one dictionary in the CAS(Central Accounting System) may impose more than 25 digits with a total limit of 80 digits in the CAS for all such fields. 1, record 33, French, - zone%20de%20codage%20impos%C3%A9e

The biomass industries concept. The Science Council of Canada's report No. 23 "Canada's Energy Opportunities" recognized the potential of renewable biomass energy as one of the significant renewable longterm energy resources. This factor plus the recognition that many industrial components in the Canadian economy rely for over half their feedstocks on biomass triggered the idea of a biomass industries program. Private contractors often operate under city licenses or franchises. Municipal regulation may be extensive or may be confined simply to enforcing general public health and nuisance ordinances... Where an individual collector or company is granted an exclusive privilege to conduct the solid waste collection business for an entire city and has a formal franchise or contract with the municipality, there is some confusion as to classification. The significant point of distinction is not that a contract or franchise is in force, but that the collector is paid by his customers--not the city--for the service rendered. 1, record 40, English, - franchise%20collection
