In 1983, as a project of the Saint John Human Development Council, an Adult Literacy Pilot Project was developed to meet the literacy needs of the greater Saint John area. Shortly after, the Saint John Learning Exchange was established in December of 1984 as a non-profit literacy education center. Mission Statement : The Saint Jonh Learning Exchange is a literacy education centre that strives to help people to achieve their goals.
