The Agreement on Preshipment Inspection... provides an additional tool for developing countries to deal with over or under valuation or fraud and applies to preshipment inspections carried out under contract by individual firms or companies on behalf of an importing member country. The objective is to facilitate international trade through the use of transparent and consistent rules. The identification of stock structure is a necessary step for the effective management of multistock fisheries. As stocks are reproductively isolated from other members of the population, disregard of individual stock dynamics may alter genetic diversity of a population if one or more stocks are lost due to overexploitation or other causes... The knowledge of individual stock dynamics allows managers to assess fish population stability and set sustainable harvest limits. Monitoring inidividual stock dynamics within a population provides the opportunity to assess differential survival and contribution to the fishery. Once stock structure is uncovered, patterns in stock contribution can be managed by setting up measures to enhance or sustain stocks when annual production is lower than desired. 2, record 5, English, - multistock%20fishery

Most business people understand that a company is a separate legal "person" from its members and, by its creation, limits the personal liability of any individual officer, director or shareholder for its behavior. This legal principle has been around since the 1800s, established in the now famous English House of Lords case, Salomon v Salomon. It is not always applied by the courts, however, and there are certain circumstances where the courts will "look behind" or "lift the corporate veil" to find individuals responsible for bad company acts. 4, record 9, English, - lift%20the%20corporate%20veil

It is estimated that, properly calibrated, the overall Lokomatic 90 measuring system can be accurate to within plus or minus 4 per cent. However, the tolerances for individual log length measurements can be adjusted to requirements by setting a lower length limit and an upper length limit to create a "sawing window". For example, if a log is to be 498 cm in length and the lower length limit is set to-2 cm and the upper length limit is set to +3 cm, the "sawing window" is between 496 and 501 cm. If the tree stops anywhere in this "window", the computer will consider it to be within the proper specification. The finest the limits can be set is ± 1 cm. 1, record 18, English, - sawing%20window
