Resulting from aseptic necrosis of the medial tibial condyle, Blount's disease can develop in infancy and adolescence. Infantile Blount's disease is usually bilateral... It occurs five times more frequently than the adolescent type, between the ages of 1 and 3 years and can heal spontaneously... Blount's disease can occur in growing children of any age and is classified into three forms :infantile(in children less than 3 years), juvenile(in children 4 to 10 years) and adolescent(in those aged 11 years and older).
