In the standard commercial lease transaction, the initial document is generally the offer to lease... In a lease transaction, the offer to lease serves a function similar to that of the agreement of purchase and sale in a purchase transaction. The offer is made by the lessee(or tenant)-the person who wishes to rent the premises from the owner. The offer is accepted by the lessor(or landlord)-the owner of the premises. It sets out the information necessary to complete the lease form as well as the basic terms of the deal....(L. S. O. Established in 1993 under UN Security Council resolution 846, UNOMUR was given the mandate to monitor the border between Uganda and Rwanda and verify that no military assistance-lethal weapons, ammunition and other material of possible military use-was being provided across this border. While the tragic turn of events in Rwanda in April 1994 prevented UNOMUR from fully implementing its mandate, the Observer Mission played a useful role as a confidence-building mechanism in the months following the conclusion of the Arusha Peace Agreement and during UNAMIR's initial efforts to defuse tensions between the Rwandese parties and to facilitate the implementation of that agreement. 1, record 12, English, - United%20Nations%20Observer%20Mission%20Uganda%2DRwanda

Tenth and last province to enter the Canadian Confederation on March 23, 1949; its territory comprises an insular portion, the Island of Newfoundland, and a continental one, Labrador, attached to the province of Quebec. With the royal assent of December 6, 2001, officially amending the Constitution of Canada and making effective the law previously adopted by the House of Commons, the name of the province was changed from "Newfoundland" (abbreviation: "Nfld.") to "Newfoundland and Labrador" (abbreviation: "N.L."), thus approving the name and abbreviation determined by the provincial Cabinet. 3, record 14, English, - Newfoundland%20and%20Labrador
Record number: 14, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The name of a province and its form, spelling and abbreviation are to be decided by the provincial toponymy authority, with the agreement of the Government of Canada. One uses "province of Newfoundland and Labrador" for the geographical entity, "Province of Newfoundland and Labrador" for the provincial administration, "Newfoundland and Labrador" as the short form, and "N. L. "as the abbreviation. Note the absence of hyphenation and the abbreviation without a space between the two elements abbreviated by their initial letter with a period, as the rule requires in English. When used alone, "Labrador" is abbreviated by "Lab. ". The new designation "Newfoundland and Labrador" remains singular because the entity is still a unit. 3, record 14, English, - Newfoundland%20and%20Labrador

Approved by ISO, the Canada Post two-character symbol changed from NF (or CA-NF) to NL (or CA-NL) on October 21, 2002. This symbol is the same in all languages and must be used only in postal addresses and statistical charts where the identification of provinces and territories is restricted to two characters. A two-character provincial symbol must not be used instead of the abbreviation in a text or on a geographical map, a poster or a road sign. Do not confuse the country subdivision code or symbol NL (or CA-NL) representing Newfoundland and Labrador, with the country code or symbol NL representing the Netherlands. 3, record 14, English, - Newfoundland%20and%20Labrador

3, record 14, French, - Terre%2DNeuve%2Det%2DLabrador

This is an export certificate issued in Eastern Canada for corn loaded to a "laker. "The request for this type of certification originates with the shipper prior to shipment and includes a statement of agreement between the shipper and purchaser indicating further inspection is not required. A Western Certificate is issued to indicate quality at initial loading. Subsequent handling increases breakage and may lower the grade; however, this becomes the responsibility of the buyer rather than the seller. 1, record 24, English, - western%20certificate%20%28EASTERN%20DIVISION%29

1, record 24, French, - certificat%20de%20l%27Ouest%20%28R%C3%A9gion%20de%20l%27Est%29

Landscape maintenance refers to the general upkeep of exterior site spaces, including both hard and plant materials. The initial maintenance program on a site is the contractor's responsibility. A maintenance agreement for the period of construction and after is usually included in the tender documents as part of the landscape contract. It continues usually for four to six weeks after the project is finished and includes a one-year replacement guarantee for plant material. After this period, maintenance becomes the owner's responsibility. 1, record 25, English, - landscape%20maintenance

Although not universally accepted, the principle of setting physical boundaries first, followed by biological bounding, was stressed in many of the workshops. this initial focus on physical characteristics and processes of a system for establishing spatial boundaries was a reflection of the general agreement among workshop participants that environmental impacts should be traced from changes in physical structure or function through ecological linkages to the resulting biotic perturbations. 1, record 26, English, - physical%20boundary
