K-Means Cluster Analysis Results. The k-means algorithm is a clustering method which measures the proximity between groups using the Euclidean distance between group centroids. Beginning with an initial selection of k groups, this clustering algorithm allows to locate each respondent within clusters according to his/her distance to the nearest centroid. In total, 10 cluster solutions were tested using the Environics 1995 survey data. A scree plot of the derived proximity measure(in this case the Euclidean distance between group centroids) by the cluster solution is presented in chart 1. 1, record 2, English, - cluster%20solution

An initial set of experimental runs was devoted to the characterization of the soluble enzyme deactivation kinetics, at pH 3. 77. Two-slope log(activity) versus time curves are still produced by soluble acid phosphatase... [In another plot, ] the values of the specific activity... of the intermediate structure distribution are reported as a function of deactivation temperature. A typical S-shaped pattern is followed, which recalls previous experimental results obtained for other proteins. 1, record 4, English, - deactivation%20temperature

1, record 4, French, - temp%C3%A9rature%20d%27inactivation
