Initial symptoms of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome(STSS) are usually flu-like and may include fever, chills, malaise, vomiting, nausea, and muscle aches. Approximately 24-48 hours after symptom onset, an infected individual' s blood pressure can drop with symptoms progressing to sepsis with hypotension(low blood pressure), tachycardia(faster than normal heart rate), tachypnea(rapid breathing), and organ failure. 5, record 1, English, - streptococcal%20toxic%20shock%20syndrome

4, record 1, French, - syndrome%20de%20choc%20toxique%20streptococcique

After an initial ultrasound examination, the barbotage is usually performed when you are lying on your side. With a thin needle the whole injection area is first numbed. The calcific deposit is then approached with one or two needles and multiple punctures are performed. The procedure is highly precise and the needle is continuously watched on the ultrasound. Care is taken to minimize injury to the tendon. Sometimes water pressure is used through the needle to break and suck the calcium deposits in the area. Following the barbotage, an injection of steroid and local anesthetic is administered. 1, record 3, English, - barbotage

The gas pressure forces open check valves that normally isolate the accumulators from the RCS. Record number: 8, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Second impact syndrome can result from even a very mild concussion that occurs days or weeks after the initial concussion. What is Second Impact Syndrome? In patients who sustain a second concussion when the first one has not fully healed, the brain loses its ability to auto regulate intracranial and cerebral perfusion pressure. This may lead to cerebral edema(severe swelling of the brain) and possible brain herniation. Loss of consciousness after the initial injury followed by secondary brain damage creates ionic fluxes, acute metabolic changes, and cerebral blood flow alterations. All of these characteristics enhance the vulnerability of the brain and greatly increase the risk of death, even if the second injury was far less intense. 1, record 8, English, - second%20impact%20syndrome

Glueless wood welding... is very quick. The process consists in applying rapid, alternating mechanical friction to the two wood surfaces to be welded, under some pressure. The equipment for this type of work already exists as it is used to weld thermoplastics joints as used in the car industry. At the very high temperatures attained by mechanical friction(higher than 180ºC) the characteristics of the wood lignin and hemicellulose between the wood cell walls change, and start to flow, hence the initial phase "melting". 3, record 14, English, - linear%20friction%20welding

A 2. 5 cm(1 in.) diameter gas line connected to this exhaust system is provided at each of the ISPR [International Standard Payload Racks] locations. The pressure allowed into the waste gas line is 275. 8 kPa(40 psia). The temperature of the exhaust waste gas is allowed to be be between 15. 6-45°C(60-113°F). The waste gas system can reach pressures of 1 x 10 [minus³] torr(1. 9 x 10minus 5 psia) in less than two hours for a single payload volume of 100 liters(3. 5 ft³) at an initial pressure of 101. 4 kPa(14. 7 psia). Unified and American National screw thread standards for screws, bolts, nuts, and other threaded parts consist of six series of threads [UNC or NC; UNF or NF; UNEF or NEF; 8UN or 8N; 12UN or 12N; 16UN or 16N] and a selection of special threads that cover nonstandard combinations of diameter and pitch... The 8-thread series(8N) with 8 threads/in. for all diameters is used on bolts for high-pressure flanges, cylinder-head studs, and other fasteners against pressure, where it is required that an initial tension be set up so that the joint will not open when steam or other pressure is applied.
