In order to minimize the plasma loss arising from interactions with background gas particles, the plasma is contained in an ultra-high vacuum system. The high vacuum is obtained by using turbo-molecular pumps for the initial vacuum and liquid helium cryopumps for the pumping to very low pressure. 1, record 1, English, - ultra%2Dhigh%20vacuum%20system

This system limits the closing device to effect a single attempt while the signal to close is maintained. If the device fails to complete a satisfactory close operation whilst the close signal is maintained, then attempts at further reclosing(pumping) are inhibited. An anti-pumping can be achieved in the closing control circuit in various ways, either by using circuit-breaker mechanism auxiliary switches or a timing relay. It only allows a single closing pulse to the closing device, which resets when the initial closing signal is released. 1, record 2, English, - anti%2Dpumping%20system

Deferred perennial yield that consists of two different pumping yields. The starting yield is greater than the rate of the perennial yield and results in the depression of the water level. This provides water at lower cost without any detrimental effects on the aquifer. In fact this may reduce initial losses that occur at high water-table conditions such as by evapotranspiration, or subterranean flow to the sea. When the water level is lowered to a predetermined level, then the rate of abstraction is adjusted to the rate of the perennial yield. 1, record 3, English, - deferred%20perennial%20yield
