A multi-level distributorship occurs when a person involved in a sale or distribution is expected to solicit others to sell or distribute, forming multi-levels of distribution. Included in these levels is the promise that the initial person receives not only a percentage or commission for goods sold but also a certain rebate or commission based on the number of persons signed up, forming a sales pyramid. These schemes create the false impression that one can get rich merely by signing up a number of people in the program who will then in turn have an incentive to sign up a number of people below each of them, without ever really having to sell any products. These schemes almost always fail, and you run the risk that you are participating in an illegal scheme. 1, record 8, English, - sales%20pyramid

Once Atlantis is ready to undock, the initial separation will be performed by springs in the docking mechanism that will gently push the shuttle away from the station. Both Atlantis and the station's steering jets will be shut off to avoid any inadvertent firings during this initial separation. Once the docking mechanism's springs have pushed Atlantis away to a distance of about two feet, when the docking devices will be clear of one another, Altman will turn the shuttle's steering jets back on in "Low Z" mode and fire them to begin very slowly moving away. 3, record 13, English, - undocking

The conventional method for starting such a weld was to drill a pilot hole to serve as the initial keyhole, carefully align the welding torch over the pilot hole, adjust the standoff distance, and then turn on the torch at full power.... The new starting technique does not depend on precise manual alignment. The welding torch is positioned with no more than the usual care. As the torch begins to move along the weld, the welding current is gradually increased toward the full operating level, causing the depth of the weld to increase gradually until the keyhole is formed.... The standoff is controlled by the automatic-voltage-control portion of the welding equipment. At the end of a circumferential weld, the torch can continue a short distance past the starting point to overlap and thereby complete the weld in the starting transition region. 1, record 14, English, - variable%2Dpolarity%20plasma%2Darc%20keyhole%20welding
