Machine d'extrusion-injection (...) Il est à remarquer que les matières difficiles à injecter sont néanmoins relativement faciles à boudiner. Cela tient à ce que la plastification thermique est plus facile dans une boudineuse que dans un pot d'injection, malgré tous les perfectionnements apportés par la torpille. En conséquence, la pression nécessaire au déplacement de la matière est moins élevée en extrusion qu'en injection. On peut donc, pour la même force de fermeture du moule, injecter des pièces plus grandes en extrusion-injection qu'en injection.
