Survivor guilt. The issue of guilt in those who survive a terrorist attack appears in some reports... This seems to be part of meaning-making, so the person not only wonders why they were a victim but also why they survived while others were injured or died.... Workers need to help victims of terrorism understand that survivor guilt is not an uncommon reaction. Furthermore, you can help victims make sense of the attack, its impact on their life and get them to incorporate that knowledge into a future focus. Obviously, if this reaction is causing much distress, a referral to a mental health professional may also be helpful. 1, record 3, English, - survivor%20guilt

1, record 3, French, - culpabilit%C3%A9%20du%20survivant

Indirect victims are those who are linked to direct victims in such a way that they too suffer as a result of that relationship, such as family members of the direct victim. Casualties include responders. The term "casualty" does not refer to a victim who suffers loss or property damage. "As for fatalities, they are handled separately in the course of fatality management. IDLH : Sigle anglais signifiant «Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health.»

3, record 25, Spanish, - inmediatamente%20peligroso%20para%20la%20vida%20o%20la%20salud

The criminal law department of our jurisprudence; so called because the sovereign, in whom centres the majesty of the whole community, is supposed by the law to be the person injured by every wrong done to the community, and is, therefore, in all cases, the proper prosecutor for every such offence. Originally pleas of the Crown meant offences which were triable only in the king's courts....
