Exemptions based on an injury test provide for the denial of access to requested information if disclosure "could reasonably be expected to be injurious" to the interest specified in the exemption. "Injury" in this context means having a detrimental effect. The fact that the disclosure could result in an administrative change in a government institution is not sufficient to satisfy an injury test. It must be possible to identify an actual detrimental effect on the interest specified in the exemption. 2, record 1, English, - injury%20test

In the context of an access to information or personal information request, the injury test is used to determine whether the information requested is covered by an exemption because its disclosure would likely result in harm to the interest protected by the exemption. 3, record 1, English, - injury%20test

Most species of plants can survive short dry periods without serious injury, but a prolonged period of soil water deficiency is highly injurious or lethal to all except those species of plants with a well-developed capacity for drought resistance... One example of non-reciprocal risk is that posed by aircraft to landowners on the ground, as contrasted with the reciprocal risk that one plane in the air creates for another plane, Professor Ehrenzweig called the theory "negligence without fault", and explained that anticipation of harm at the time of the start of the activity rather than at the time of the injurious conduct determines the scope of liability". At one time, it used to be widely thought that a combination to injure was not actionable, unless it was inspired by malice or "disinterested malevolence". But as now formulated, a combination to injure another is prima facie actionable unless there is some justification recognized by law.

1, record 99, French, - cabine%20de%20protection
