The rudder actuator is a tandem actuator, having two internal piston areas for each hydraulic source(A & B). The actuator is capable of positioning the rudder panel with either one or both main hydraulic sources available, though with one source inoperative a reduced rudder panel deflection would result due to blowdown at higher airspeeds. Flow of hydraulic fluid to the rudder actuator is controlled by the dual servo-valve. This is a complex dual concentric cylinder with an outer and inner slide. During normal rudder pedal inputs sufficient rudder panel deflection is catered for by the primary(inner) valve alone. However, should a larger panel deflection be required or a higher rate rudder input be commanded, the secondary(outer) sleeve moves in addition to port extra fluid to the actuator. Movement of the outer sleeve is typically no more than 1 mm. Position of both sleeves of the servo valve is controlled by a complex mechanism of bell cranks, input rod and summing lever, the geometry of which is such as to provide movement of the sleeves in relation to the body of the valve. 2, record 5, English, - rudder%20actuator

5, record 11, French, - jambe%20%C3%A0%20amortisseur%20ol%C3%A9opneumatique

Bark : A non-technical term covering all the tissues outside the xylem cylinder. NOTE : In older trees, generally divisible into inner bark and outer bark and, in any growing season, into early bark(consisting typically of sieve tubes with companion cells or sieve cells... and late bark(consisting typically of parenchyma and a few, small sieve tubes or sieve cells...). 1, record 12, English, - late%20bark

2, record 13, French, - extrudeuse%20%C3%A0%20effet%20Weissenberg

"F. Martin's Recording balance" produced by the Prolabo Co., Paris, works on the hydrometer principle. A cylindrical container is hung from the right balance arm and is surrounded by an external sedimentation cylinder. The suspended material is poured into the cylinder, and the scales are balanced. As the particles gradually settle, the buoyancy operating in the inner cylinder becomes smaller. The force exerted on the left balance beam is therefore increased proportionally to the weight of the settling particles. The scales are automatically kept balanced during the whole sedimentation process. 1, record 18, English, - Martin%26rsquo%3Bs%20recording%20balance

1, record 18, French, - balance%20Martin
