The ATP molecule consists of a nitrogen-containing organic base(adenine), a sugar(ribose) and a string of three phosphate groups.... In most of the reactions where ATP serves as an energy currency only the terminal phosphate group is involved. ATP is formed by attaching a third phosphate to adenosine diphosphate(ADP) with the elimination of water. The reaction does not proceed spontaneously; on the contrary, a substantial quantity of energy must be supplied. Much of that energy can then be recovered in the reverse reaction, in which ATP is split into ADP and inorganic phosphate. 4, record 2, English, - inorganic%20phosphate

Controlled pore support prepared by heating borosilicate glass to 500-700 °C, when it undergoes a phase separation. Subsequent leaching of the borate component leaves a porous support with closely controlled pore sizes. However, it is not suitable for industrial purposes owing to its high price and lack of stability due to the continuous leaching of silica from the particles during prolonged usage in continuous flow systems, especially in alkaline media. Various methods have been employed to overcome the stability problem including the deposition of a surface coating of zirconium oxide by impregnating the controlled pore glass with a zirconium salt under vacuum followed by calcination to the oxide. 2, record 4, English, - controlled%20pore%20glass

Significant differences in controlled pore glass via azo-linkage and Schiff's base linkage, Schiff's base being the most stable. For any given protein the isoelectric pH will vary somewhat, depending on the ionic composition of the medium, since proteins can bind certain anions and/or cations. When a protein solution is thoroughly dialyzed against distilled H2O to remove all small ions other than -H[superscript+] and OH-, the pH of the resulting solution is known as the isoionic pH. 3, record 8, French, - pH%20isoionique
